FIESTA ON THE LAWNS: AT HIghclere Farm

Celebrate Latin music with Canberra Symphony Orchestra at Yass Valley’s Highclere Farm. From the passion of Piazzolla’s tango to pop hits by Shakira, Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin, the rhythms and melodies of Spain and Latin America will fill an afternoon of tango, classical favourites and dance-floor hits on the lawns of the historic homestead.

Music in the Meadows returns to Yass after a sold-out debut last year, with guitarist Minh Le Hoang, winner of the 50th Tokyo International Guitar Competition, joining the CSO chamber ensemble for a program that moves between generations and genres.

Bring your own picnic or indulge in a Latin-themed menu courtesy of Blunt Cat Catering, accompanied by local wines and beverages available on site - and enjoy an afternoon of open-air, family-friendly fiesta! Mellabella Gelato brings to the event vintage Italian carts offering handcrafted artisan gelato for sensational melting moments.
