The 36 room, steel framed Homestead is an architectural marvel of its time, with English Bond brickwork. The grand Italianate design features a 4-storey Belvedere Tower - Roof Top Terrace overlooking the parkland setting of established trees. 100-year-old English Elms flank the Lake which sits at the foot of the Eastern Hillside. What makes it unique however, is its position on an elevated plateau (670m above sea level) in the Southern Tablelands, NSW. Perfect for wool growing on this former 20,000-acre sheep station.

The accommodation has undergone an inspired restoration - brought back to life and transformed into one of NSW outstanding luxury escapes. PRIVATE HIRE
Highclere is an immaculately appointed 36-room country house. Up to 20 adults can be accommodated in 10 individually designed bedrooms with 8 bathrooms. With 6 expansive reception rooms to choose from, enjoy the company of friends and family over a feast in the 20-seat dining room, or simply relax reading a book in the Yellow Drawing room.
WEDDINGS
Highclere Farm Yass is one of several unique wedding venues in NSW. The private property venue affords ultimate flexibility to make your destination wedding truly exclusive and memorable. There are stunning outdoor settings for your ceremony, including the Grand East Terrace and wrap-around verandahs. Smaller, intimate celebrations up to 50 guests are welcomed. Larger marquee receptions accommodating up to 150 guests take place in the dedicated area which stretches between the Mansion Homestead and the Lake.

The impressive 1895 Homestead, formerly known as "Blackburn," has a long and rich history. The estate spanned 20,000 acres during the Australian Wool Boom under a succession of pioneering figures. It has been at the heart of the Yass community and the thriving Australian wool industry across three centuries and multiple generations.
